Welcome to our blog, «evolving» people!
We’ve started the new course with gusto and have been working with the question words (who, what, where, when, why, how) through a rap song- ask us to sing it for you! We’ve sent you the lyrics by email to perfect your performances at home ;). REMEMBER to use the gestures we showed you too to memorise them using your body!
As you know we use stimulating conversation topics to present different language points. This term we are investigating Native American culture, customs, philosophies and the concept of community to help us understand how they lived (and some of them live now)…We´ve looked at Native American animals and their horoscopes and how we can describe our personalities. We’ve also started to make some beautiful dream-catchers.

Hemos comenzado el curso con mucha fuerza y les hemos hecho aprender todos las palabras que se utilizan para preguntar en inglés y qué mejor para que se les quede grabado en sus cabecitas, que con una canción, en esta ocasión a ritmo de RAP.
Asimismo os mandamos el documento con la letra de la misma, para que ellos la puedan seguir practicando 😉 Ah! E importantísimo es el acompañamiento de los movimientos aprendidos, cada uno asociado a cada palabra. Que os lo enseñen, please!!! A modo de rap too 😉
Con ellos comenzamos una nueva temática la semana pasada «The Native American people and their customs», donde aprenderán la cultura americana desde sus inicios … A través de la cultura de los nativos americanos … Eso sí, esperamos que no se lo tomen al pié de la letra y no hagan demasiado el indio 😀
En estas sesiones veremos «Native American Philosophy», «The importance of Nature», «The story about me and my name» «The tribes and the importance of the community» ..

Welcome to our blog, «emerging» e-3 people!
The last 2 weeks we have been reviewing how to talk about ourselves…who we are, how old we are and our likes and dislikes. We made ID cards and took some funny Pop Art style photos.
We are now looking at our new topic for the next few weeks: Native Americans…we´ve got new Native American names (just ask us!) and we´re looking at North American animals as part of their beliefs in the links between the natural world and the human world.
We´ve also started looking at Jollyphonics: the sounds /s/ and /t/. You can practice the songs in your house! Soon we´ll start with blending (spelling out words with the sounds)…
